The Su-25s will not be denied.

Shilkas! “712, IP.”Vasily’s voice snaps me back to the present. The mission is not over. The S-300 is out of action, and I thank God for it. But there are other things to kill.As I pop over the last mountain I see tracers in the air… Shilkas!

“712, weapons free. ECM on.”

“Two, going SEAD.”

I thumb up the Kh-23. This is a perfect target to shoot it at. I can see the cooling towers clearly.

We were right to come from the west. If we had come from the south… or east… or north… the target would be shielded by the buildings, or the smoke from the burning S-300 site south of the plant. As it is, I have a clean shot!
