Taxiing over to the seaplane ramp we drive right into the water in our amphibious airplane.
Pulling over to the fuel pumps I shut off the engines and add some fuel. X-Plane uses an intuitive aircraft loading and fueling menu to set your aircraft weight and fuel parameters. Just move the slider across the bar to change the load-out on your aircraft.

With fuel onboard and water in the dump tanks we head out for the fire. With a full load the CL-415 requires a fairly long run of clear water or else you will end up in the trees. Once you are airborne, head for the smoke and pretend you are Richard Dreyfuss in the movie “Always”.
