Flying the P-51 I felt a bit like I had the tiger by the tail while the P-47 is just pure butter to fly. The bass throb of the P-47 at idle lets you know that you have some serious horsepower at the ready but the Thunderbolt is much more docile in the low speed regimes. Much less rudder activity is required on takeoff and landing with the P-47 and the heavier feel of the aircraft airborne makes it feel like a super stable ground attack platform. Again, the cockpit and 3D model are simply stunning. You can’t find a bad angle to look at these aircraft!
