Getting up in the morning is something I've never been very good at but on a morning before an Air Show that's a different story! Another early start for us on this Saturday because we had to be on base at 8 am. A quick shower and a cup of coffee and we're on our way.

The first call upon arrival on base is another cup of coffee! This will warm the hands a little until the Sun makes its way up into the blue sky and burns off the heavy fog that is surrounding the base.

Our early arrival time is to ensure we all get our walk around the VAS, which if you remember is where all of the Flying Display aircraft are parked. We have a short amount of time escorted by our RAF hosts along the flight line to get a closer look at the aircraft.
