Strategy
Once again the big question is going
to be about compromising qualifying speed for fuel. The Michelin
tires on the leading teams other than Ferrari seem to be catching
the Bridgestone on the scarlet cars (though the tire failures
at Indianapolis were a worry). With only a week between the
French and British races the teams will be pushing the tire
manufacturers to run new compounds now for the next few races
as this will be the last chance for anyone to stop Ferrari's
domination of the season and this could have an impact on
wear.
