Round 18 of 18

Strategy
The new pit lane (introduced last
year) is longer and is incredibly dangerous! If this is still
in operation then a two stop strategy could be the way to
go as the tires are softer and tire degradation is high at
the circuit. There is a good chance of rain over the weekend
so we may see another race on a drying track. The Michelin
runners (McLaren, Williams, Renault, Jaguar and Toyota) should
do well here as their tires may well enjoy a slight advantage
here in terms of grip in the dry weather (as was shown in
2002). Should it rain the Bridgestone runners will again run
away with it as they did last year. Qualifying will have an
effect on strategy and , although there are places to pass,
it is doubtful that too many teams will be filling their tanks
to brimming as qualifying seems to have become more adventurous
of late and many will be going for a final pole position of
the season.

Fini
Special thanks go to
Ralph, Mattias and the rest of the group from RH 2004 Season
for supplying such a superb mod and permitting SimHQ to show
the development images, to my wife Sharon for putting up with
my crouching over a laptop producing these previews instead
of talking to her in the evenings and guod for tirelessly
putting the whole thing together. Please keep the feedback
coming especially the positive stuff and here's
to 2005!
