Actually, in this development
we have the support of several official partners, as Sparco,
Beta Tools, AIM Sportline, and of some racing teams that
have decided to join our project, helping us to gain all
main data about their racing cars. We have provided them
a beta version of our software and their race engineers
and drivers have given us their feedback, allowing us to
improve the way in which the physics model manages the data
package, including aerodynamics, tire temp, chassis torque,
suspension geometry and many other main parameters concerning
the feeling of the cars. Therefore, real drivers and racing
enthusiasts enjoy netKar PRO, and the software will represent
a really useful tool for training, trying different setups
or learning a new track. It will appeal to casual gamers
who are looking for innovative software such as netKar PRO.
Version 1.0 of netKar PRO will
include different types of cars, inspired by lower Formula
cars, and it will allow the players to join the training
and online races against other people, even with a 56k modem
connection. The F3 racing team Target allows us to use its
official liveries, and a virtual counterpart of their official
driver, Riccardo Azzoli, will be included too.
In the same way, Sparco, Beta
Tools and AIM Sportline have accepted to join our project,
allowing us to use their official tools for telemetry, driver's
equipment, teamwear etc.
Because of the fine force-feedback
model, the "Namie" version of netKar was used
by BRD Interactive to test their innovative steering wheel,
as reported by Autosimsport sometime ago.
netKar PRO features a new force-feedback
model, to raise the feeling of the driving to an even higher
degree. netKar PRO 1.0 will support Track IR technology,
control by wheel & pedal sets, and even joysticks and
keyboard, to allow everyone to try it. We don't aim only
to make our simulation enjoyable, or graphically stunning:
our aim is that when the "player" will test nK
PRO he will stop to think: "I'm playing", but
he'll start to think "damn, I'm driving!"
We want your Feedback.
