But I'm still talking about playing,
so this is not a review, and it is not about which mod or
conversion is better or more accurate. The car interiors in
LM70 Mod are very basic, but in my view good enough
to not shatter immersion. Porsche engineers were the masters
of making a basic cockpit for the real cars, so in some sense
this is very real.

The sheer sensation of riding those
wild 917s is worth the time to download this mod. Mere words
cannot begin to explain the thrill. So instead of attempting
to put this feeling in writing, why not watch some footage
that was never used in the movie Le Mans: the Le Mans
rain "outtakes" (linked below), while dreaming of
miniskirts, long hair, sideburns and unlimited speed.

If you download this mod and debate
with yourself whether to try out the updates for the Porsches
that are available on the download page, I would urge you
to back up your Porsche folders prior to installing these
updates. In my opinion, they ruin the handling of the 917s.
