rFactor's Open Wheel Mods

EuroF3 / rF3
The excellent EuroF3 mod by Laurent
Evenisse was so impressive that ISI made an arrangement with
Laurent ("lo) which means that it is included in
update 1070 as a new rF3 series with fantasy skins. The EuroF3
mod contains the liveries of real teams, and both options
are available to you when upgrading to v1070. You then install
the F3 mod v2.0 which you can download from the link below.
In it's latest incarnation the rear-axle
of the car has been sorted in order to offer a more manageable
and driveable car than in previous versions. The back of the
car had a tendency to step out uncontrollably over larger
bumps in the road.
The terrific EuroF3 mod is available
from Stylelo
here.

Formula Nippon
Emulating the Japanese Formula Nippon
series, this mod offers the correct drivers and liveries,
some very nice looking slick tires and sounds that remind
me of ChampCars excepting the turbo "whistle"
of course. The racing is close and feels like something you
could watch from a Grand Prix Masters event. The more I drive
this mod, the more I like it.
The Formula Nippon mod is available
from
here at rFactorMods.

F1 1996 Mini
1996 liveries on FIS car shapes, slick
tires, and physics to match the 1996 season.
The F1 1996 Mini mod is available
from here
at rFactorRacing.

FS One
If you require completely accurate
car shapes and driver line-up, and are into Formula 1, you
should try out the early Beta of FS One. These cars grip on
an altogether different level than anything from Formula
1 Challenge and they are so fast in acceleration and deceleration
that the mind boggles. Jolly good fun!
The FS One mod is available from
here at rFactorRacing.

F1 SRM 2005
Another Beta offering is this little
package. Being a Beta, it only contains a few cars, amongst
them a Minardi. I have begun to sympathize with Minardi drivers
over the past few years. Not only is the car slower than all
other F1 cars but to make it go you have to drive it at 110%
and this is where it gets tricky to stay on the black stuff
and do consistent laptimes. This bodes well for the realism
of the mod, seeing that the mod team has already got the basic
characteristics of the Minardi down perfectly.
The F1 SRM 2005 mod is available
from
here at rFactorRacing.
