Spending some time on the Internet searching for LFS add-ons, I found some very nice gems including:

• High resolution updates to most of the tracks
• High resolution skies
• High resolution interior for the RAC

When installing the different car skins I was able to confirm my suspicion that LFS is not able to handle two or more sets of car skins for the same car. This is a problem when you wish to race single player with the AI and assign the skins in a particular set.

Also make sure to name of the skins are in a generic form that maintains the native LFS naming convention. If for example you name the skin for an AI car “Honda”, the sim will look for a skin called “Honda” even after you switch car type from F1 to Touring Car. Therefore it is better to name the skins in the form suggested by LFS.... "AI 1", "AI 2", etc.
