Because of the various ships, subs, planes and styles of play involved, it takes well over an hour to work through the 11 different tutorial missions alone. Of course, considering that most missions will take at a minimum of 20-30 minutes to complete, maybe that's not unexpected. There are also Ship, Plane, and Submarine "challenges" to go through before your first big battle. The time spent here will assist you immensely in the battles that you will be completing in both the single player campaign and in the multiplayer element. The tutorials will teach you all that you need to know to accomplish your missions.
