Retired Pilot builds Boeing 767 flight simulator in his bedroom
Missing his flying days, retired pilot Michael Black built his own Boeing 767 flight simulator in his bedroom so he could continue his passion for flying without actually leaving his home in Eugene Oregon.
Over 5 years Michael used real 767 parts along with 5 screens and fresnel lenses to create moving effects as you move your head while looking out into the satellite based visuals. There are 5 computers running the simulator but Michael isn’t saying exactly what flight simulator software is being used.
