May I do a request? What about "Twente", which is my living area (and Gotcha's).

Cool that you made my home city! Although it's not that accurate, the city is a lot bigger than those few clusters of buildings in the map. Oh and the airport in Sandefjord is named Torp, not Trop.

And if you're going to model Norway there are a lot of more interesting places than the relatively flat capital Like the fjords in western Norway (Sognefjorden or Hardangerfjorden), or the Islands with all those steep cliffs and fjords in northern Norway (Lofoten or Senja (where I grew up ). And not so many cities you have to model in those places

Most places do, but maybe not those remote farms you find up the mountain sides



Not Finland, but Russia is right next door, and during the cold war there was always a huge chance Norway would have been invaded. And plenty of reasons to want Norway, there's tons of natural resources like oil and gas (Norway is currently the third biggest exporter of oil and gas in the world).

Norway is #1 country in the world in wealth. Denmark and the Netherlands are following closely. I don't have any references.

But both Denmark and the Netherlands are completly flat which is boring helicopter terrain :P

Have you managed to get Prekestolen (aka Pulpit Rock, a 600 meter vertical drop into the fjord) to look right?

Dikes doesn't count as hills!

A few facts about Sognefjorden:
It is over 200km long, stretching nearly halfway across Norway at its widest. It is the second longest fjord in the world (longest is Scoresby Sund on Greenland). The fjord sides reach altitudes of about a 1000 meters above the water, and it's just as steep below sea level, reaching depths of more than 1300 meters at the deepest point. The inner most part of the fjord extends into the Jotunheimen mountain range, which contains the 26 highest peaks in Norway, and also the highest in Northern Europe, Galdhøpiggen (2469 metres) and Glittertind (2,465 metres).

Sorry for interupting the tourism promo but has anybody had issue with this map causing a CTD after a few minutes?

Yes I do Colonel... I thought it was only me.

I get a CTD, especially if I try to pan around with the hat switch.

I don't have this issue with the other maps (having a blast in Kenai (SP?) Peninsula)

I test for a long time the map and i have not a CTD

I see here 2 peoples only from 896 Downloads with problems

Strange thing about statistics, they don't mean much, unless they happen to you.

2/896 would imply a fatal crash each year of driving to work, and home again.

Well, I'll be darned... After seeing there was no much response on the CTD issue I started a diagnostics and troubleshooting session. Several driver and hardware setting changes later, I am happy to report that I seem to have found the culprit of my CTD's... Unfortunately, it was an ailing X-Fi card. After removing the card and all the software, drivers and registry entries via DriverCleaner... No more CTD's.

Using the integrated sound card now. Miss some of the creative utils, but sounds OK, and no performance loss either.

One thing though... Norway seems very flat...
