Beautiful screenies - reminds me of why I like the Sea Harrier so much!

In support of the recent hard work by Russ and the A-Team on the Vulcan B2, the Black Buck 1 Missions for the add-on are now complete.

You've seen the storyboard before, but never quite like this...

Vulcan B2 Enroute to target area with Victor K2.

Time for the K2 to say 'au revoir'.

RN Harrier (from HMS Invincible) on Black Buck CAP gets that funny prickly feeling on the back of his neck (high at 7 o'clock).

An unsuspecting Stanley airfield at dawn on 1st May 1982.

Bombs gone!, bomb bay doors closed, and still no signs of life down there.

Wakey Wakey!

Turning onto escape heading.

"Time to get out of here chaps!".

Perfect RV with earlier K2 tanker for the long trip home.

"Morning. Nice to see you again!".

Reunited.

Of course, it doesn't always go to plan.

Regards, comrpnt.

One thing, how the h*/ you bombed a runway from 10000 feet and actually hit it??

-Sir in case of retreat, were we have to retreat??
-To the Graveyard!!

Practice my friend, lots of practice. Something Martin Withers and his crew knew all about.

(You should see how many times I missed the target! )

When it's released you're going to have a great time getting this mission 'just right' and going on to meet up with the K2 again (hint: chaff and ECM are your friends - the last picture above shows what happens when you forget this simple lesson)

All the best, comrpnt.

Looks good to me! Can't wait to fight Mirage IIIs and A-4s WVR in a GR3 or "SHar." Anyone else play Fighter Duel in the mid 90s?
