Looks fabulous. I am sure I will buy this when it is ready.

In the meantime, will there be barrage balloons? I don't recall seeing any. Also, the landscape seems a bit dry. There are few rivers or lakes.

There is already observation balloons in OFF phase 2, so they should be there in P3.
AS for rivers and lakes, CFS3 doesn't do good water IMO. They are there in P2 but nothing to get excited about.

There are a gadzillion things to take photos of, barrage balloons are there and improved. Please see our website for list of features. Lakes and rivers are there, one of those pics at least has some.

The terrain is pretty accurate rivers and main roads are were they should be etc.

It is not that important, this issue of ground water I suppose, especially given what you have acheived with everything else, including those spectacular cloud-scapes; but I have to say it strikes me every time I look at that m/s-originated landscape: where is the water? It looks like unbroken steppe on and on. How difficult would it be to put in more obvious rivers, lakes and such? The things that kind of form intermediaries between air and land.

When? ;\) when it's done is still the reply. Beta is done and a further patch ready so we are getting there...

Here's a river, about as good as it gets with CFS3

A lake \:\) ...

Nice work Mark!

We can even see the lozenge camo working as if diffuses into the terrain background on the far away D.VII.

One thing you might want to change, I believe all OAW-built Fokker D.VIIs had a two-tone painted axle wing (split purple/green, and in the colors like the wheel covers shown).

Thanks Dave, yes that's one thing once the terrain is right the patterns on the aircraft make sense.
Re the skin/wing it's possible I have another skin on the craft there - some are taken in QC, and you can choose from all the DVII skins - but I'll point it out for the guys to check -thanks.

Here's a fantastic generic skin by OvS for the Biff over Winding Man's stunning scenery.

(generic are used if a skin for a particular squad or pilot is not available).

Any chance of a Jasta 30 shot? That unit was missing in P2 (understandably) and I've been eagerly anticipating P3 J30 P3a.
