OK... with a clear victory for Wepps Worms...congrats on that... we have decided to have a rematch, same time, same place next Friday... June 13th... thats FRIDAY The 13th...

But this will be a little different... we will be keeping the same team, (mainly because now everyone would leave my team to go to Wepp's team, lol)... but there will be new leaders (I want in on the frontline action, lol)... so if you can make it next Friday please reply here...same team, if you want the leadership position, or the frontline CO position then call it here...

Whats going to be different about this one is that we will play on the German map... where your team spawns, closest to North or South is where you will move to a good location in your area to set up your base, and capture nearby sounds... then once that has been set up, there will be no arty or air units, this is strictly a infantry, mech infantry, and armor warfare event...

CO's will still defend and move there HQ as they see fit, but only in there top or bottom half of the map... the purpose of this is too get those big battles, most likely in the farm fields between towns that we wanted yesterday, but never got... you can still find and destroy the enemy HQ, but on the ground... no arty and no air...

This will also be interesting for the fact that the German map is made for tank battles and armor engagements, while infantry can capture towns and camps... it will be the same victory rules, destroy the HQ building for the win or whoever has the most points at midnight EASTERN... this starts at 8 PM Eastern, please know when that is your time and be on time! Wepps! lol

Good luck again, and please respond if you can or can't make it so we can plan for replacements, extras...

I'm in ! I might have to cancel at the last minute though, but it's pretty unlikely. I don't mind keeping the teams as they are, but maybe adlabs should come and join he Worms, as I don't think he'll survive another defeat \:D

Perhaps if more people are interested we could open a few extra slots in eah team, say 10/10 or 12/12 ?

Cheers

Nico

it only supports either 8 vs 8 or 16 vs 16... When we challenge TG, it will probably be a 16 vs 16 match.

I will not change teams!

I'm IN...

And I'd take a leadership role. Even the CO... we can sort that later.

So there will be a challenge then... How do we decide who's Opfor and who's Blufor ?

I will be available, so you can plunk me down on EAST if no one else claims the spots.

EDIT: Errr, WEST. Sorry, I didn't realize we swapped sides.

Someone can have my spot for the re-match.

I had to call in a favour to be able to play on Friday. It's 6:00 my time, which is busy time around the house getting the kids ready for bed and whatnot.

Anyway, just wanted to say it was fun. I haven't had a chance to get online with most of you guys all at once and I enjoyed it.

Looking forward to the AAR.

I'm going to see about editing the mission so I can disable artillery and helicopters, just for the Schmalfelden map.

What I'm going to do is make artillery and helicopters much, much more expensive. So that they are still in the game, but we might only see one or two the entire game. They cost around 7 grand now, I was thinking of making one helicopter cost around 50,000 dollars, and artillery cost around 10,000 per.

What do you think?

Good enough compromise for me. Maybe go $15k on the arty?
