    The first=20 important discovery in the "exe" program for = European Air=20 War (EAW) since a special team was set up to look = into it=20 has been made.

    Based on careful notes by "Von = Beerhofen" (Roel Bartels) and "Gurney", control over = smoke=20 and contrails has been achieved by "sydbod" and = tested by=20 "Pobs" and "Col. Gibbon".

    Pobs made the = announcement=20 with pictures in the thread, "Burn, Baby, Burn". = Read the=20 thread here.

    "...we can now keep = the smoke=20 columns burning for the whole mission if we want," = Pobs=20 said. "...no more 30 second petrol fires when a = lorry goes=20 up... "

    Minor, perhaps. But the contrail = control is=20 much more impressive for immersion. The = high-altitude,=20 long-lasting contrails make for action almost = identical to=20 the "real" thing. Scroll through the discussion WAY = down to=20 see the effect, posted by Col. Gibbons.
