According to this article, China is close to = buying=20 Su-33s, the navalized Su-27 Flanker variant. Since = the=20 Chinese aircraft carrier project was apparently = postponed,=20 this might mean that Varyag, the second Kuznetsov = class=20 aircraft carrier which China obtained in 1998, will = probably=20 be repaired and retrofitted after all.
