Continental horizontally opposed 6 cylinder piston engine for sale. Engine is used and being sold for parts or overhaul. Motor spins freely and feels smooth. Unsure of the actual engine model number because the info plate is missing. Case has a bohnalite marking on it. I found that bohnalite was a company that made cast aluminum parts for some aviation companies. That being said I think it may be a 470 or a i0520 but I’m not sure. Those are the engine models I’m finding when I look up some of the part numbers I’ve found. All markings I’ve found are listed stamped box-

I found this motor stored away in a shop of a aviation parts business that was closed a longtime ago. No logs available or other history is known about this engine other than that. engine was in a metal Continental engine shipping and storage container. I’ve included a picture of the container. Overall the motor looks good but does have some light rust. One valve cover is cracked/damaged. Everything in pictures is included other than the shipping container that’s shown.

Buyer is responsible for all air certification that may be needed for the use of any part or overhaul of this engine.
