Next you’ll want to save and download the .map. You must do this so that the game will recognize each of the axes as you assign them.

Now let’s look at the controller assignments (axis) in the game:

Controller Assignments

To begin with I had to clear the axis assignments assigned by the game.

Press Clear

Then, select (by double clicking) on the axis to be assigned. Here, I’ll be assigning the Cyclic Pitch (FighterStick fore/aft movement). After you’ve double clicked on the axis to be assigned, move the axis fore/aft or, left/right. The axis assignment will populate, as seen here:

Move Joystick Axis And Select OK

Follow these same steps for each controller axis assignment.
