This past weekend the SimHQ skies were once again filled with DCS World fliers in another SimHQ DCS World Fly-In. Graciously hosted by Wrecking Crew and Eno75, the newly unveiled Hollo Pointe Server took the lead in hosting the festivities, and was supported by the ever-popular Firehouse Server. Both servers were running the latest (at that time) DCS World 1.2.2.
Despite not having all the stability updates expected in the just releasedDCS World 1.2.3, events started strong Friday with 16+ clients in the Hollo Pointe Server and 12+ on the SimHQ Teamspeak 3 Server.
With continuous acton running throughout the weekend, not including the activity running in parallel over at the Firehouse.
There were some server crashes and connection issues (and incredibly long mission load times!) but, overall, it was a great weekend to fly!

Comms
As with all our previous Fly-Ins, the real action took place on the Teamspeak 3 Server. General chit-chat supplemented by healthy doses of instruction and information sharing, with an occasional bolus of adrenaline-fueled excitement.
Comm discipline and a standard brevity code go a long way towards maintaining a fun yet productive environment for all, but newbies and experienced veterans alike were all welcome and present, slinging it out together.
