Believe it, the Apache and A-10 cockpits are in progress. Pretty cool stuff. The team is looking to make the A-10A the second aircraft in the DCS Series, followed by the Apache. Can you say co-op front and back seat multiplayer?
I have seen some comments by folks wondering why the A-10 is the “A” model and not the newer “C” model. Matt advised they just don’t have the authority of the DOD to use the “C” version at this point.
I asked Matt and Eugene about those fun to watch ricochets. Were they just a cosmetic, cool graphical thing? Yes, they are, but they also have different characteristics, depending on whether you’re firing AP or HE rounds. You may decide on seeing the results of your handiwork, you had the wrong round for the job picked to begin with.
I’ll talk tomorrow on the other stuff I saw at E For All and a bit more on DCS Black Shark. Watch tomorrow for a neat but pricey racing seat, Intel running an rFactor Formula 1 contest, an aborted chance for me to get a free 1 GB thumb drive, courtesy of Intel, and more. Like for example…
“Excuse me…!”
“What is it, Bob? I’m busy…”
“Mr. 20mm, you simply must clear up this falsehood about booth babes! The rumors are starting again this year!”
“Bob, why must you force my hand like this? Oh, very well then, have it your way!”

“Say goodnight Bob, see you tomorrow.”
“Not if I see you first, Mr. 20mm.”
