1950s 5ft VENTRAL TAIL FIN -- BELL 47 H-13 HELICOPTER -- VINTAGE USAF ARMY MASH:

circa 1940s/1950s rear Ventral Fin from a Bell 47 / H-13 Helicopter - the legendary chopper of the Korean War and featured extensively on MASH -- made of painted canvas fabric stretched over an aluminum frame with a central aluminum bracket and hanger fasteners ---- the 'Stars and Bars' logo of the USAF is visible particularly on the bracket but appears to be the version that changed in 1947 (no red stripe): this may be originally from the YR-13 and over-painted dark od for Korea -- the aircraft number is '13841' ---- measures app. 16 by 60 in. - the bracket is about 24 in. long and 5-12 in. wide - weight about 6 pounds ---- moderate wear from time: dusty with light handling wear - the numbers and USAF Stars and Bars are painted over dark olive drab - two of the hangers are missing a nut/bolt set o/w hardware is complete ---- *SORRY NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FOR THIS ITEM* --
