This is a center console/organizer made for a Cessna 182 "widebody". They will fit the 205/206/207 as well. It is made of 5052 aluminum with a .080 thickness. It weighs just under 16 pounds. All cuts and holes are laser cut. All bends are made precisely as well.
The organizer will come with the unassembled parts shown in the picture, hardware for attaching the holders, hinge for the lid, and carpet grip material for the bottom, and rivets.
The organizer is NOT attached to the airframe or seats in any way. The bottom has carpet grip material (not Velcro) and the design of the organizer holds it in place. They have demonstrated to not move in 300 hours including steep turns, positive/negative G's, emergency descents, hard landings, hard braking, and cruise.The console comes unassembled and will need to be riveted or bolted (suggest rivets) together. It is easy to do with a hand riveter and 3/16" aluminum rivets. It takes less than an hour to rivet.
The organizer holds an Aerox oxygen bottle size A-E or other bottles with a 5.25" diameter or less. The bottle compartment is located in the bottom of the organizer and slides in from the rear.
The back of the organizer will hold a fire extinguisher up to a 3.5" diameter.
The front cupholder also has a few positions for pens.
The front cupholder, rear fire extinguisher holder, and lid all have adjustability to position the mounts as desired. The holders are adjustable vertically and the armrest forward/aft. The lid is designed for a leather armrest.
You can mount a 1" ball base for a RAM mount and position an iPad over clipboard over the two front section and cupholder.
I do have the leather armrest available for sale for an additional $140.00. The are real leather and made to order depending on what color you would like. Please reference the pictures with the armrests for color option. Disclaimer: the leather is real and therefore may have slight "imperfections". I do try to eliminate any from the section of material used.
The pictures with the organizers that are coated and have an armrest are for reference only. Those were all powder coated. The organizers for sale will come unfinished, unassembled, and without an armrest unless you choose to purchase one.
