I am offering an Unused Lycoming Oil Impeller Gear. It has a Lycoming P/N of 60747. This gear fits almost all Lycoming Engines including the O235, O290, O320, O360, O435, O540, O720, geared engines, vertical engines and others. It is an Aluminum Gear, not affected by the AD. It can be used in a certified engine and I have enclosed an excerpt for those interested.P/N 60747, aluminum oil pump impeller is NOT an impeller and shaft assembly. It is an impeller that rotates on a fixed, non-rotating shaft. This shaft is retained by a cotter pin passing through the oil pump housing and shaft. This configuration is not effected by this AD. Lycoming SB 524 requires P/N 60747 aluminum oil pump impeller to be replaced, however, AD 96-09-10 (written after therelease of SB 524) does not require its replacement – the SUMMARY that precedes the AD explains that, “… only aluminum impellers, P/N LW 13775, are affected.” Returns accepted without question.
