Haha take a screen of the leaderboard and post it here for posterity. But anyway, it's not your first win. But I played well so you deserve all the glory that comes with it smile

I set up the new tournament, and having read that you like the weather stuff I was inspired to create the British Open at Lachlan Crossing, which is St Andrews. The weather forecast is not good for Thursday and Friday, but a high pressure front is expected over the weekend.

Bring your brolly and slicker mate.

Played the British Open over the weekend. Honestly I expected worse conditions, and more wind. I set it to 'high' but that covers a range and so I wasn't seeing velocities over about 15 mph which is about 24 km/h if that's what you use.

This course in these conditions is a bit of a wild ride. You are so much at the mercy of the undulating ground, but I had a lot of fun rolling with it. Played solid in the first round. Not all that well in round two, but no big dramas either. Weather cleared over the final two rounds and shot a pair of 64s. No eagles, six bogeys, which is a lot, but not really around this place!

Good luck (unless you have already finished)

Congratulation on your win DBond. smile

Final result -18/ -1-

For me round 1 and 4 were ok. 2 and 3 abyssmal. biggrin

Very interesting course, and very hard to read .Some surprising angles. I got real punished if I tried something aggresive.

The weather conditions made the course even more unpredictable. Real fun allthough I lost again. Which was no surprise.

I hope this course will return later in the season.

Thanks. Sure, we can play it again. Honestly a few course requests would be appreciated as I'm always a bit anxious about which course I am choosing for the next event.

No reason to be anxious about your choices.

Every course is a challenge in its own way.

In fact I`ll give you a big thank you for setting up the tournaments. smile

And I`m sorry that noone except us seems to find interest in the competition.

This week we are at the beautiful Sky Peaks resort. An alpine sort of course with massive elevation change. Quite challenging.

I put it in the water three times and made two doubles! Oi vey

But overall not so bad. Closed with three straight 62s

Ghost is posted Good luck!

Good golf Wigean, nice consistency.

I played the new event, Copperhead. This is a difficult course, and honestly there are some pin locations combined with slope and green speed that makes it unfair at times. I made some big numbers on a few holes. I won't be selecting this course again.

Good luck!

Congratulations with your win DBond.
Those numbers are impressive.

I am looking forward to Copperhead.
I don`t mind if the course is difficult.
I will play it and I will tell you if I dislike it afterwards. smile

Always straight and level can be boring, but Copperhead might be a little too much?
Anyway , it will be equal for all players.

I am through round 2. Half way.
This is a very unforgiving course for sure.

Was that you I heard cursing over at hole 14 DBond? biggrin

Is that the one I kept chipping near the hole and have it roll back to my feet, over and over? Surprisingly I remained calm and just took it all in stride. Just get on with it.

Or was it different disaster? smile

I meant the first.

Any way, no worries, you won the tournament. smile

Congratulations with the win. Good golf!

I don`t mind the course. Some of the fun is to see improvements from the last time I played it.

Oh wow, I had such an adventure I was sure I would be runner up this week. I'll take it smile

I already forget which course I set for next event, but I hope to play better!

Maybe we will have another player soon. One of the skippers at subsim has expressed interest, so hopefully he will give it a go. Good luck in the next one!

That was pretty close, good golf Wigean.

I played the first two rounds of Craggy Heights. Played pretty well, opening with 62-59. One bogey.

We might have a new player, mapuc from Subsim. I hope he has fun and sticks around.

Good luck!

Played the final two rounds. Conditions were a little too easy, and that's on me since I set it up lol. Third round is in the rain, so the course is soft, and the final round the wind died, so you can shoot at flags and stick it in there close. Third round I was lights out with the putter. Best I've ever done, and just one of those things as I didn't do anything differently. Just this time they all fell in the hole. On the first two holes my approach shots came up a little short, but that just showed how soft the greens were and after that I was firing right at it. The ball was stopping quick. Final round I lost the touch a bit, but still went pretty low. Not the best result if we have a new guy join if I'm honest. He'll be thinking WTF

Good luck!

Good golf Wigean. Is that your lowest four-round total yet? That's the consistently low result you've been gunning for. Well done. New guy got his money's worth smile

I played the new tournament last night. Played well enough. First round was going along nicely until the 18th. Made a triple there I think. Struggled with this hole, which has a tricky green. Triple, bogey, par, birdie over the four rounds so at least I was trending in the right direction lol. Good luck!

Thanks DBond and congratulations on another win. smile

Yeah I believe that was one of my best tournaments when it comes to numbers. I had a lot of fun with this course

I think the new guy made good progress . Starting from scratch in that game can be hard. He will be a guy to look out for, for sure.
On this stage it`s not so much about the numbers, allthough it might be a bit intimidating.
The Danes are tough so it won`t take long . So you better watch out DBond. smile

So next one is Detroit.
Good Luck!

Every now and then a blind squirrel finds a nut, or something. Thanks Wigean, that was another close one. The third round wasn't my lowest round ever, but it was the best I have putted. On a different week you win.

New guy will improve in leaps and bounds I am sure, if he sticks with it.

I am on another recruitment drive, this time on the Steam forums and may have gotten another to join, or at least think about it!

The door's open this week. There are few courses in this game where I walk off and think, I don't really like this one. But Deere Run is one. Something awkward about it. Tricky greens here, and I struggled at times, making four bogeys. So the number posted in not so low. Good luck!

I think you can relax DBond.

For my part I am struggling with this course.
I had a bad first round and even if I improve I don`t think I will get close to your score. smile
