Slow day at work so I've been listening to some late 60's/early 70's rock classics and several of them have been over 10 minutes in length. All of these are timeless IMHO

I miss going to Rock concerts with my Mrs. so much. DVD concerts are enjoyable but no match for the real thing (crowd energy with occasional whiff of pot). Maybe one day we'll get back to it, but without Rush I'm just not motivated to leave my house for live music anymore.

This album Is what started It all!
When I went back to the US (FL) from Europe, when this album came out, I went to see Ozzy (with Randy Rhodes, Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo). I was wearing my leather jacket, with band patches and studs, and leather wrist bands, banging my head to the music of Ozzy, the kids In the concert were all looking at me like If I was an alien, had my Iron Maiden T-shirt on, they didn´t even know who Maiden was yet, and actually never saw a metal head until then. It´s one of those memories as a teen that you will never forget. Europe (specially UK) was the cradle of what would later be heavy metal In the US and rest of the world. As seen In these videos...
