Weird experience on MS Flight Sim discussion boards. A while back in their 'wish list' discussion thread, I posted a 'wish' for MSFS to take the new platform and add combat again, as they did for CFS 1, 2, 3...

Remembered the post just now and went back to see if it had any votes, others supporting the idea. But when I checked, my post was gone. And there are no other posts about MS doing a combat sim, which is in itself strange.

Maybe I misremembered posting it? OK, so I posted the same idea again.

Two days later, thread locked and hidden! Only I can see it.

WTF? Why is a simple suggestion like that seen as so toxic by MSFS mods? Is there some kind of religious edict in the MSFS community I don't know about? "Thou shalt not mention combat?"

Ironic if the actual reason is 'we are so sick of so many people asking for this it is never going to happen.'

I have no experience with the MSFS forums, but I don't think this will ever happen, because:
1. They'd need to produce a damage model for every building on the planet
2. Microsoft, as a global brand, won't want to alienate any market by making them a 'baddie' in some scenario.
