Newspost from february 15, 1999

- We also found this on the newsgroups, again about Jane's Combat Simulations doing an F-14 Tomcat sim.

Author: Jarkko Altonen:
Anyone else see this? There's a new press release on EA's www page that mentions a "faithfully modelled F14 flight simulation, due in Q3 1999".

- Looks like Combatsim.com has the scoop about Jane's Combat Simulations doing an F-14 Tomcat sim. Check it out. Thanks for the news Ray.

What happened to that sim? heh

(btw i clicked on november 1998 !@?)

Well Arch, if anyone was to figure this out it would be you. Thanks, and very nice to hear from you again. It has been too long.

I'll be damned. How the heck you found it is amazing. I dont quite get it.

Wayback Machine?? What next, Sherman flying a Spitfire with Mr Peabody on his wing?

It is nice that it is still accessible to anyone who might want to take a peak or if something from the original is needed.

I have bookmarked the way and that's enough for me.

Thanks again Arch.

Folks,

Arch!

Way to go Old fellow. You are a gennaman and a schooler, er... skoller ...wait a bit, ... schalller?... dash it all, are there any 'z's in this word? Well Arch you know exactlly what I mean.

SNAFU:

It rather looks like instead of Sherman and his trusty dog we got Danger Mouse and Penfold on the job. Set, point and match for the Brits. Thanks Arch.

Perhaps OSRAM can find it in his heart to pick a few "HWH" stories from the original archive to post on the BDG site as well?

On to HWH 3!

How on earth did you figure this one out Arch?

Folks,

Sir Arch:

You are, IMO, entirely too modest. Salute!
