This "slideshow" should give you an impression of a little engagement I had. .... particularly the destruction of a T-34 by my Tiger.

Here we go:

I set up close to the remains of a wooden cabin:

Lining up on my prey using the game's full screen gunner's view - the T-34 is about 600m away:

I took a shot. Notice the smoke obscuring the view and the tiny glowing round in the distance about to hit home...

Impact!

... a brief moment later - secondaries!

A furious fire starts to burn:

Viewing my Tiger in relation to the smoldering T-34:

Hope you enjoy! \:\)

Nice.

Reminds me a lot of some of the tanking I used to do in WW2 Online. I loved taking a PzKwIIIH out and plink british armor.

The third picture raises a question:
The offset the shell has to the Tigers optics is due to wind from the left or due to the slopy position of the Tiger??
Or does it has another reason that I have overseen here? - Maybe how the optics work in general.....

Thanks for any answer.

Uwe

Gyroscopic forces cause the shell to drift to the right as it goes down-range. ;\)

Hmm, a movie on that one would be nice...

I know, I know.. but sadly, all previous attempts to create a movie were shot down by the publishers. I guess I leave it up to them to create some promo-material besides my screenies... \:\)
