Just a fyi..

Newly released NVIDIA ForceWare 162.15 Win2000/XP (32-bit) beta drivers, aparantly fix the graphic corruption problem in Lomac that Nvidia gfx card users have been suffering.

Driver can be obtained here... Guru3D ForceWare 162.15

And release notes here... Download v162.15 Release Notes

I havnt tried these myself but posted here incase they help anyone out.

Thats good news! Thanks for pointing it out.

But where did you hear that this fixes the LOMAC nVidia bugs? Just curious!

In the release notes buffybill linked (2nd link), the document lists the following:

Fixed Single-GPU Issues
GeForce 7 Series GPUs: Lock On: Modern Air Combat–graphics corruption occurs. (page 9)

NVIDIA Issues—SLI Mode
GeForce 7 Series GPUs: [SLI], GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: Lock On– slow performance in the game.
GeForce 6 Series GPUs: [SLI], GeForce 6600, SLI, Windows XP: Lock On: Modern Air Combat has lower than expected performance at high resolutions with antialiasing enabled.

What about 8 Series GPUs?

Will fixes for the 7 Series also cover the 8 Series?


I remember something being kooky when using full-shadows, but I haven't tested LOMAC with the latest drivers from the Nvidia site (perhaps this issue was fixed in the last driver revision for the 8 Series?).

Just installed my 8800 today and was bummed to see crappy gfx in LOMAC.

I'm planning on getting a 7600GT AGP for my "long in the tooth" system, will these drivers fix the issue, or were there any issues with this specific card to begin with?
