there's been a lot of "talking" amongst us getting more info, vids, screen from BoB after E3... is this for true or just speculation? Are Maddox/UBI at all on E3 promoting BoB?

I know there is only a handful of companies on the "new E3" compared to last year's 400+, and UBI is among them... but considering that BoB is a very narrow title compared to the new Splinter Cell, and other "broader" titles....... you think/know anything about this?

The rumour is that Oleg won't be at E3, although that doesn't mean he won't send a representative. Just guessing, all speculation.

Can't find it in IGN's list of games at E3...

Maybe it's a no-show?

Bad news... Someday Oleg has to start the public relation. I fear we will not see BOB this year, what was guessed a few month ago by someone who made 3rd party add ons for FB....
Maybe this means that BOB will be very very good when it will be released. (like Duke Nukem forever...)

Oleg HIMSELF stated BoB needed to be out the door by X Mas. I'm holding to that unless someone's got a differing quote or estimation from him. Could there be delays? Most certainly, but speculating on the release of BoB based on a gut feeling serves no real purpose other than to muddy up any positive info we already have.

1C is at the show. A topic in this forum gave a link to attending vendors and 1C Maddox was listed. We've been informed numerous times that info will be released to the community shortly after E3. Perchance we don't get anyhting post E3 then I'll worry when of if BoB is gonna make it out.

While information these last months has been scarce, we have been informed about what and when to expect it.

I'm pretty sure Oleg's no longer with Ubisoft, I believe he's with Atari now far as publishers go. There was an anouncement back in march or so I think about it. I'm also with Knight about this, I think I also remember Oleg stating he needed to get it out by christmas this year. I tell ya I'm ready! I can't wait to see the online play, should be really good!

I think the SOW BOB is still contracted with Ubisoft. Thats the rumour anyway. I suppose Atari

could take over with further SOW series addons, but I'm just guessing.

You're wrong. M:1C is under contract with Ubisoft for SoW:BoB.

After the aggro over Pacific Fighters I sincerely hope not. I don't want to see another Maddox product ruined by stupid legal wrangles.

If you go to the E3 website they have a listing of the games 1C is announcing. Nowhere is mentioned SOW.

As well neither Atari (SOW new publisher?) or Ubisoft (still publishing???) mention SOW. My guess would be that they are negotiating with a new publisher and thus the drought on updates. Again just pure speculation.

Gawd this legal bollocks makes me sick.

Ivan mentioned at the UBI forums that if all goes well SOW BOB is still on target for the end of the year, and updates are still planned to start this month. As he said there still alot of "Ifs", but at this point its good to know that there hasn't been any major setbacks.
