I promised to make a video of the new cockpit. So here it is, a four minute in-cockpit video of me flying around a bit with the new cockpit and new exe. The video is 34 MB. If you find that a bit much there is also a lower quality flash version you can view in your browser. And now also on youtube.

Incredible work arneh! It's very hard to fault this pit.
By the way as it seems the next version is 1.10, is there a changelog available to see what else has been fixed/added?
Thanks for taking the time to make the pit, and the video.

Just saw ... LB3. This makes it a whole new sim, should no longer be called version 1.xx. How about calling the sim ... EEAH2 (for Apache Hokum :)), cause who's gonna fly the comanche once this gets out ??? But there is one thing not clear to me ... did you use TrackIr or some sort of mouse movement with e.g. mouse buttons to zoom in/out or even using a joystick ? How will we be able to have this kind of 6DOF like in the future (ED's) DCS series ? Congrats.

By the way as it seems the next version is 1.10, is there a changelog available to see what else has been fixed/added? I haven't made a complete list yet, no. And it wouldn't be final anyway as there will likely be a few more changes. But most changes have been mentioned at some point on this forum. So either look through old posts, or wait for it to be completed [/quote] did you use TrackIr or some sort of mouse movement with e.g. mouse buttons to zoom in/out or even using a joystick ? I used Track-IR for moving the head, and a joystick axis for zoom. In older version you could only zoom to some fixed zoom ratios with the 7, 8 and 9 keys, but with next release you can change it smoothly to any angle between min and max. And you can use either keys (ALT + F3/F4) or a joystick axis for changing zoom. How will we be able to have this kind of 6DOF like in the future (ED's) DCS series ? I think it works much the same there. Who needs BS/DCS anymore? I do :P If nothing else but so that I can get new ideas for what to implement in EECH

That's great ! I was afraid this would be limited solely to TrackIR gear (TrackIR being best I guess). Yes, TrackIR is best But for the engine start-up, where I switched to viewing the throttles I actually used the mouse for view and joystick axis for zoom. It was easier to get it smooth when viewing that far down.
