Pretty cool, but is it compatible with the hard fm settings?
I'm not sure what you mean by compatible so I'll try and describe how the FM acts with each setting.
First, the Huey and the Jolly behave differently. Think of the Huey as F1 car at Monte Carlo and the Jolly as stock car at Watkins Glen.
On easy they are both pussycats and will do whatever you demand but a bit more slowly. You can use wing leveler or auto-pilot if you like, but they both have a tendency to climb if you do. Easy makes them act more like a "plane". On easy they are much more forgiving. With TV and throttle control you can land them vertically on a carton of eggs without breakage. They will pedal turn on a dime and give you 9 cents change.
Normal and Hard are a different animal and I find much more fun, but take a lot more practice.
Forget wing leveler and auto pilot for normal flight, you have to "fly" them. They shimmy and shake and you swear you hear stuff rattling around. TV will lift you off vertically with no problem at all. Pedal turns are a lot quicker and will give you 7-8 cents change. After a lot of practice you will learn how to make the Jolly "back-up".
The Huey will side slip around all you want lining up target after target once you get use to it. While your blasting away with mini-guns and rockets, your M-60 door gunners are having a turkey shoot as they find their ground targets. The Jolly, remember is a basically a transport, but after you warm up to her, with that Sikorsky engine banging in your ears (get some headphones) she will do just what the Huey does and you will put that cannon in the hole every time.
On normal and hard your approach to ground touchdown with both of them should be planned in advance if possible as the TV is much more touchy. You do have airbrakes to help, but not flaps. Watch your speed, if it starts to stall, push the stick forward. On carrier landings its a lot easier due to the speed of the ship.
One other thing. Your stick settings may have to adjusted to fly the helos vs. planes.
I find that about 90% sensitivity and about 5% deadzone works well for me. I have my TV on the keyboard as I have an old but reliable stick. The newer sticks make it much more easier and fun.
Hope I answered your question somewhat.
Quick vid to show you once you get use to her what you can do.
(the Boss hates it that I can make her back up).
