Is this for the well known Iraq nevada war of 1997?

No,
It's for the France vs USA vs Brittain three-way battle royale of 1990.

Should allow for some very realistic historical red flag setups, interesting.

Now where's my Tornado.......

All respect to you , its lovely work. However , its a bit lost on me. Ive no idea why Id play a simulation to play at a simulation of a conflict. If your going realistic you wont even be able to fire weapons in air to air or have responces from the ground.Still its beautiful. Just wish it were somewhere useful like Iran \:\)

Well hopefully, with the whole third party tools release thing, we might get it "all" eventually. Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Red Flag, etc. For the next release though, we'll have to do with the highly unrealistic setting of Russia versus Georgia. DOH!

I guess the idea is to use it as a realistic training ground for squadrons that want to do general weapons and tactics training and such, apart from simulated flag exercises.

Hi Silent-One,
The terrain building tools are currently open for modders. Have you considered making an Iran terrain? That would be awesome!

Cheers.

Don't ask me why, but Nevada has always been my favorite place to fly. Esp. in Falcon 3, most of my missions I built in the Nevada Theater.
