Just found this place. Been waiting about 8 months or so for Saitek to get their XP drivers fixed, so I could dust off the X36 and reinstall EECH. Great bunch of people in here. I've been lurking and trying to get myself up to date.
Would like to take a spin in the comanche but, I'm bogged down trying to build a profile for the X36usb in the new Saitek SST software(I barely remember how to program with the SGE version).
Does anyone, perhaps have even a basic one to get me rolling? I did a search, but none posted.

I made one once when I had an X36. It's still available here: http://saitekhelp.simhq.com/sge_game_profiles_1.htm

Thanks much! Now I've got something to joggle my brain and just need to redo as a ".dat" from a ".psi". Too bad the "SST" software can't do that. Would save a few hours. Thanks again!

I have one for the X45 which should work (probably) for the X36 too. Unfortunately my website is down untill the end of the month. I can mail it to you if you want.

Thanks Gocha, they're not interchangeable. I've been doing a lot of reading lately, trying to catch up. I've read some of the work you're doing as well. Waiting for your "transfer limit ban" to lift to try out your work!
Saw your post on the Saitek forums. I run mine the same way, manually. I let the profiler run in systray at first, just to make sure it got installed right. I didn't get the error you did. I shut it off and put a shortcut to it in quick launch. I think the saismart is the gui that connects the game loaded with the profile loaded, so you don't get commands from the game menu instead of sst's profile.
