I'm thinking about getting either GRAW or GRAW2 this week and was wondering which title is the best for single player.

I've heard that GRAW2 is an improvement over the first title...as may be expected, but I've also heard some criticism about the single player campaign: Too short, too easy etc. so I'm leaning toward GRAW.

I've played both demos and I'm fairly impressed with both of them so it's pretty much the single player campaign that'll swing it for me.

Any thoughts?

Thanks \:\)

GRAW2 although the campaign is shorter is much better and more enjoyable.

GRAW1 felt as though it was unfinished and hastily put together to meet a release date. GRAW1 was more difficult, but not difficult is a good way. It all boiled down to... spot the bad guys, take cover, pop out of cover and take the shot, get back in cover, rinse and repeat for next target (yawn factor is very high in the repetitive GRAW1). GRAW2 is much more tactical, due to the completed features of the cross-com system that weren't present in the unfinished GRAW1, and you AI team mates are actually useful in GRAW2.

Thanks for the info. How short is the SP campaign in GRAW2? I'm balking slightly at buying a game for £40 that may only last me a few hours.

Well JMO... I bought 1 and 2... never finished the SP campaign in 1 because the AI was a bunch of idiots and dying constantly... so it was nothing but a MP game to me.

I played GRAW2's campaign twice, regular then elevated risk (hard)... fantastic stuff, and AI was 10x better and usually only died when I did something tactically wrong.

Plus GRAW2 has a number of graphic/sound and equipment/tool upgrades....

of course you can find GRAW1 cheap right now.

GRAW 2 - didnt like GRAW campaign so never played it much only through to about level 6, but that was after finishing graw 2, and only as i wanted the points, but i got bored with it as i had played graw 2, and it was better imo. Played GRAW 2 to the end. Was a great game with airstrikes, + additioanl troop support, armour + little bird support as well.

oh yeah and your AI support actually did some damage and weren't targets for the enemy most of the time.

They are both good but if you have to choose 1 I'd agree with the others and say GRAW2.

Get GRAW2 and download the Free GRAW map packs. Best of both worlds!

Does anybody here ever get together for GRAW2 co-op these days? I never have much time to look for public sessions when I get home. I finally got in one the other night, and I was really disappointed at how everybody went their own way and died off quickly (Ravenshield?). It would be great to play a game with real teamwork.

Sending out an S.O.S.
