We had the first race in our month of may SimHQ Summer Race series using Forza MotorSport 2 today.

Unfortunately out of 8 signed up for the grid, only 5 showed. 1 was unable to connect due to a network issues, and the other 2 were no shows.

The participates of the first race, and also the finishing order:

Turn one begins to separate men from boys:


Dan looses it on turn 2, and as luck would have it I was right behind him. Should of known not to be near Dan when he said "Oh is today the race?" lol, (in all fairness he did drop out thinking he wasn't going to make it but did.):


Dan again, hitting the tires in turn 6, and of course thats me behind him. I spent more time dodging him then racing, lol:


Skate takes the lead from the get go and never looks back, he dominates... thats why I was hoping Pfiel would of made it in (he had the network problem), was the one I thought would give Skate a run for his money:


This is either Kerpal or Mute, with the other spinning out in the background:

Kerpal and Mute gave the best race, neck and neck the whole way:


Then Dan comes into play, being lapped...he's the lead vehicle being lapped, and spinning out:


As Dan spins out he smacks into one of the other drivers, forcing him off the roadway, while the follow up car drives "through the smoke":


Next lap, I'm lapping Dan now as he spins and throws up some cones:


Skate wins by a mile, and even has time to slow down before crossing the finish line, lol:


Good race, would of been better with the full grid of 8 racers. I personally performed well after the first 2 warm up laps, but was always driving defensively around Danny Boy.

I'll see about putting footage together for sharing later... start practicing for race 2 boys...exspecially you DAN!

LOL as predicted I lost. Ill definetly practice for next weekend, it wasa disaster for me today lost by nearly 2 minutes yike! (and that was behind your time, not skates) Ill practice for next weekend though, thats for sure.

Hey...if you weren't there that would of been one hell of a boring race, lol... but like I did point out, you did pull out of the series thinking you weren't going to make it, I forgot when I saw you online...sent the invite anyway.

Looks like fun! Sebring is kind of a tough track. Is the Forza version pretty bumpy?

You played it on the Xbox?

no Xbox 360...theres a difference.

and yes very bumpy, matter of fact players/racers say it's the most realsitic feeling track in the game.

and BTW...this is SimHQ so we play it with everything on simulation... damage, tire, fuel, etc etc...
