I'm flying Flaming Cliffs 1.12a with an 8800 GT with the latest drivers.

Here's some pics of what my clouds look like:

Anyone know a fix for this? I've tried every graphics setting from low to high and still get this.

I had this too. Did some searching and found the answer. Go into Nvidia control panel and increase the quality of textures from High to Very High. That immediately fixed it for me.

I'll post up some pictures tonight of where the selection is made if you need it.

I didn't see a texture setting in the nvidia control panel so I reverted back to some older drivers and that seems to have fixed it.

EDIT: Nevermind, problem not solved. I changed the resolution to 1280 x 960 from the default 1024x768, and the problem is back. Even when I switch back to 1024 x768 it's still there.

Here's a screenshot. Go to Nvidia control panel, Manage 3D settings, then in Global Settings, scroll down to "Texture Filtering - Quality". Drop down the box as shown, select High Quality and voila.

Fixed it for me anyway.

Good luck,

smith

I must of missed that somehow the first time I looked in the control panel.

Now that I got it on high quality the clouds appear normal now.

Thanks for your help.
