300 MkIID's made, also 40mm Cannons fitted to the MkIV, increasing numbers.
MkIID Flown mainly in the MTO and Far East, however 3 Sqn's were based in the UK and some used during the Invasion of Europe.
I plane to do a 'European' pack as well at some point. I know, I know, I know! That does not answer my question my friend... I just want to know the nature of their sorties... Were they in pairs, or did they often do solo missions... I figure since they were fairly slugglish when flying, maybe they flew solo... or were launched on target groups in waves or bursts... anyone know?? TS
