World War II Expansions Simulators ---------------------------------- Our products include only mission files, video, desktop wallpapers, and pdf files which have been created directly and exclusively by members of the World War II Expansions Simulators. Our product are not expansions, are campaigns and missions packs. Other file types such as “skins” included in the mission package, have been created by different people authorizing their use in our products. World War II Expansion Simulators don't modify the game and we don't include patch (official or not), maps or “MOD" for the simulator in our products. All our packages only need the official “patch” 4.08m, with the exception of the missions “Crete 1941” and “Battle of Britain 1940: Conquest or Freedom” which need the Mediterranean Sea Map and The Battle of England map created by their respective authors, who also have authorized their use in our products. World War II Expansions Simulators is a Spanish trademark duly registered, and all our packages are legally registered protecting the intellectual property rights at an international level. Regards. Sounds good to me! By the way, it's legal to do ANYTHING unless the kind folks at AAA have made it illegal to do so. Since AAA are modifying copywritten code and materials... I uh, don't think they have any way to protect themselves. Look at it this way, folks... Since most of you are arm chair quarterbacks, just consider it thusly: You are paying $27 or so for other people's time and effort in creating campaigns and stuff for the game you like.
My personal licensing agreement: In exchange for my hard-earned cash for your product, you agree to the following terms: No part of my hardware may be used as a mechanism to verify or reverify my economical patronage. My receipt will serve that purpose. If you disagree with this license, you may return my money to me, and I'll return your product.

If it's true I somehow find this kind of funny. The irony is very funny. Even if its not true. ~Flatlander

As long as they are missions that do not specifically add a mod to the game then I don't see a problem with it.
But....
1C and Ubisoft have not endorsed nor authorized the modding of this game under any circumstances. I suppose that 1C and Ubi probably figure that trying to track down and clobber every individual that releases free mods to the game would be counterproductive and would in the long run hurt the sale of future products.
If someone tries to sell a mod for the game, or even an add on that specifically needs a mod to work then the sellers had better watch out. I don't think Ubi would stand on the sidelines and allow that for very long.

World War II Expansions Simulators is a Spanish trademark duly registered, and all our packages are legally registered protecting the intellectual property rights at an international level. I'll just say that I support WWIES 100%. Ernesto isn't selling the mods - he's selling mission and campaigns that just so happen to use some mods. The 'Battle of Britain - Conquest or Freedom' uses my beta Channel map, but he's not selling the actual map.
Certainly seems cut and dry. If you don't use the Mods then don't purchase the Crete and BoB scenarios. However looking at the World War II Expansions Simulators site grau. Am I just not looking in the right place where a statement saying these Mods are required to run the expansions is located? Tip
Four Star Pushback Complete. You have the aircraft.

Damn! I missed scamming you all with the campaigns and missions I put on M4T and Flying Legends. Trouble is, I suspect that any money I'm 'owed' is payable to the various skinners whose work I included. (Btw 'Against Overwhelming Odds' took me over a year to make (detailed research takes time) and cost me approx. £100 in books.) Canon, I hope that you were paid for your map; after all, we all paid Oleg for the ones he released with the game. Someone else making money from something you've provided for free stinks IMO.

Making mods for pleasure and free for all is one thing but selling them is completely another. I am not thinking about "who did it, and who sells it"; but legal wise way.
IF the mods are included in those packages in first place, but I am really hoping that is not the case.
