€27 is not much for a new game.

Kassie it isn't new but rehashed. To what extent we don't know but I am hoping to see some reviews so I can make up my mind if it is worth it. My "Buy it to support the genre" attitude is not what it used to be from my own reasons.

Uh-oh I have a bad feeling about this.
Those images at the top looks like its Comanche 4 or 5 or something.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Do I really need to say the old cliche "don't judge a book by its cover"?

The box means less than nothing, that's all marketing ideas.

I'm more concerned about it being deemed suitable for 3yr olds.

Speaks volumes about the simming community

I'm a bit suspicious of this myself, because it's G2 games. If you look at their site, they're selling an update/expansion pack for Silent Hunter III. They effectively cruised the internet, downloading all the community mods and packaged them as their own.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same game most of us are already playing.

Is that true (you have proof) or just speculation on your part?

Is their going to be a US release? It is very strange that we only got a few screen shots from last year. Their is no info about the game yet it's coming out next month.

Has been much discussed, so no not mere speculation

here is one thread of many: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=102681&highlight=seawolves

G2 now carries this title http://www.g2games.com/seawolves/index.shtml (tho not sure who X1 are, the orig publisher or 'developer'?)

I still have a problem with the Comanche (and I guess the Hokum too); when the game came out it was still a program that might happen. Now it's been canned, I really struggle with the idea of playing it in a "new" game.

And that cover does look sh!te, whatever anyone says about "Not judging a book by its cover". I can almost see the Hulk climbing that building in the background...

Needless to say, us folks over at the subsim forums aren't the happiest of bunnies.

If they have just repackaged everything as has been alleged with SHIII, then maybe they feel a need to keep their distance from this specific place.
