Is anybody able to run 1920 x 1200 res. Whenever i select this, which is my monitors native res the game crashes at the options screen . The only way to to get back into options is to remove the "game.cfg" file to reset defaults. funny thing is if after selecting 1910 x 1200 if i go straight to fly everything is smooth as silk only to crash when entering options screen ???

I hav`nt even tried my trackir or HOTAS yet which seems like more problems, DOH!!!

Another thing you can do instead of removing the cfg file is in your shortcut, add /3dreset to your shortcut path should you have any problems. This will start the game in the default mode, continue testing as I do not have a problem with the 1920 x 1080 resolution and the game menus.

What monitor do you've got?

I've got an 22" and it has a 1680 × 1050 native resolution. Is there any bigger?

Can you give me your monitor specs?

Here is my monitor. I use this only for computers, not as a TV:
37" Wide 1080P LCD at 1920x1080 resolution

By the way, Dell also makes a 30" one like above.

Same problem and same solution here (although at 1680x1050) - I have to get all the settings the way I want them first time and then remember that the options screen is off-limits. Deleting the file you mentioned obviously resets everything back to fresh if options need amending.

i'm running EECH2 on 1600x1000 on my laptop, is it me, is does it seem stretched. I'm pretty sure i set it up correctly in the options menu, set it to 1600x100, but when i fly the comanche and view it externally, it seems "fat" like its stretched, anyone noticed this too?

Same problem here, as soon as I set Widescreen in the graphoics options I can no longer get back into the Options menu.

It seems this game has problems at all widescreen resolutions. I run at 1400x900 and have the same crash at options.
I now use -3DReset to launch and then do the screen res in game. I thought this sort of dance stopped with Falcon 4.0!
