I've just dusted off my EECH and tried it out with my new monitor. It seems to work OK, the resolution is supported nicely, but there is one problem - the main menu is illegible (the font is very slanted)...

Yes, it has been THAT long - I do not remember the EECH main menu by heart!

Seems my installation degraded with time... Can't start an actual game due to missing textures (NOISEMAP_FIELD). If I only knew which box contains my old CDs!

The textures should be included with the exe...

Reinstalled AllMods, works OK.

But... it definitely does look different than in the old days! Holy melody...

Wow, where did that font come from? Or is it maybe something new for 1.12.2? I haven't tried EECH since 1.12 (because I've been out of town for three months), so maybe it's something firebird changed. But otherwise I don't know how that font got used. The Exit button seems to have the regular font.

I think I remember seeing the funny cursive even before (but it was readable, though). I thought it wast the aspect that made it unreadable, but I've just checked 4:3 and it is the same???

I have not seen this myself, and I unfortunately don't know the solution.
Please report bugs in the bug tracker at http://bugs.enemyengaged.net. I did it for you this time(http://bugs.enemyengaged.net/view.php?id=20), but it's better if you can do it yourself.

What kind of resolution (or aspect ratio) are we talking about here?

Mine is 1920x1200...
