Does any one else find it annoying that you have to set up axis and keys for each aircraft? Is there an easy way to copy the axis settings from say the A10 to all the other aircraft with out messing up key assignments? I poked around in the lua files but can't seem to find a way that is obvious.
Thanks

lol, God yes. I just finished assigning all my keys to each aircraft (i've had the game 3 days now).

Doesn't help that i'm using CH and each controller is recognised as a seperate entity. STILL... I like that each aircraft can have it's own controller setup (Especially when mixing up say the F-15 and Su-25T). Allows me to map more to the HOTAS than previously.

When I tried to add old LUA's, it just crashed the game.

Good point...the new way allows you to make the A-10 less sensitive then say the Flanker....but to not have to program them all would be nice. I'd likely make the fighter curves the same, and the 25 and a10 the same...oh well...work to do I guess.

Note that you can copy the Joystick configuration Lua between the Migs and the Su-27/33 as they are essentially the same for configuration purposes.

Would you share some curve settings for the various jets here?

unless you are using the same joystick...Cougar with Uber gimbal and hall sensors....my curves will be of little use to you.

Understood. Hoping for some Saitek owners to respond.

Saitek X-52 here - I have very simple curves - everything around 20, but no dead zone - this gives me a little extra control with small movements. IF I see the target I can usually get the pipper on it. BTW - I use the slider as zoom control - very easy to zoom in and out.

I may have to use dead zone with the pitch-axis though - I noticed it started spiking rather badly. I thought the X-52 uses spike-free HAL-sensors?

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
