OK, just took a look at Check Six forums and apparently it's a problem with a certain internet service provider (It's called Free).
http://www.checksix-forums.com/showthread.php?t=174178&page=3If you can't read french, it boils down to a slow/non-existant DNS update as the result of a server host change. (Sorry if some of the vocab is a bit off, i'm not a tech head).
Go into your internet settings and under ipv4 change the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and things should work again.

Quite frankly i'm amazed at the slow response time from Free. This has been going on since the 2nd of January apparently.
