Saw him at the Reno Air Races in 2010. Specfreakingtacular flying! He didn't do the truck routine, but he did some engine-out aerobatics with smoke pods at his wingtips, all the way to a dead-stick landing and rolling up to a guy that was standing on the apron with his hand in the air, stopping just as the prop touched his hand. Amazing!


In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Incredible. The steep climbs at such low altitude and speed are amazing. Incredible control of his aircraft.
