I've recently been playing JF-18 with TSH's hi-res function and am enjoying alot at 1280x960. My only problem is that I can't read the fonts on the HUD and MDIs. Wasn't there a recent mod in which someone successfully made large fonts work? I recall there being a problem with the fonts being too big for the MDIs while they worked well with the HUD.

I would like to remind everyone that Frenchy's patch, referenced in the thread above and also linked for direct donwload, is beta. TSH will be releasing a final version of the bigfonts patch (that makes the HUD text larger but does not affect the MDI text), and we will let you as soon as it it ready.

Go ahead and use the beta now, though; I do.

Looks like I'll have to wait for TSH to figure it out. Thanks for the information.

How's the patch progressing?

We're getting there. This patch will contain vastly more that just the HUD fonts, so we're taking our time.
