With the latest beta update, (the last one till release in just under a month), Steam Workshop has been added, this is a awesome mission sharing tool, (thou I foresee sharing mods confusing, unless you make a "SimHQ" collection or some type that everyone can subscribe too to play.)

Anyway... one of the SP missions I "subscribed" to is "Dynamic Universal War System", it looks to be a pretty awesome SP mission, very well done with in game manual and all... anyway, subscribe to it and check it out.

Yes, in these screens I failed, what else is new, lol... but just showing it, never saw the enemy 20 yards down hill from me. wink

BTW; Ultra settings, 40 to 60 fps.

My god am I loving this game... another mission, "Assault Camp Rogain" or whatever, lol... SP...

I saw the sign and wondered if true, guess not, my squad walked everywhere no boom, lol...

I had my squad defend my six, they did real well killing 6 patrols coming up on me, I should of got back in game and shot that guy, but was waiting for an artillery strike screenshot, lol...

Have I mentioned how great this game has turned out to be, lol... BTW before the action, when myself and my squad was walking through the field, I heard gun fire from my left rear speaker, scared the hell out of me just for a second, that real... in other room. wink

I cant play any more of that small island or I'll go crazy. But yea there are some good dynamic missions out there for arma3 and when the large island finally appears it is going to be very very nice!

ya, with that bigger island, may have to drop to high instead of ultra... right now runs smooth, but when I try and film it stutters.

OK, I was going to complain about this mission... "Why the hell would you make a mission like this without NVG", but it ended up being pretty cool, once in the town to find the bird... I thought I had a silenced weapon so I could drop that guy, nope...alarms went off like crazy... so no shooty shooty, just sneak. wink

Yep, worked last night, work tonight... I should be sleeping, but one more mission try. wink

Nice shots Magnum, I agree Arma3 is really good, can't wait for release of the new island and units. biggrin Steam workshop is a very nice addition.

I will ignore all ideas for new works and engines of war, the invention of which has reached its limits and for whose improvement I see no further hope.

That's a sweet ass compass. biggrin
I'm glad to hear about the new update and workshop addition. I want to see what they have done with parachuting.

BTW, your setup there looks like a military situation room with that big screen with Arma running on it lol.

Ghosthawk Down... it's got to be impossible... 5 attempts this AM, finally on the last I planted the C4, set the time and got killed trying to sneak away, so it blew up, after my death of course... you can't shoot anyone, and 2 guards patrol around the bird... what the hell? Still was fun to try...

I'm pretty sure BIS is limiting Steam Workshop to missions only and not modfiles (for the time being).

I hope not. I'd sure like a simplified means to mod this with new weapons and units.

What do you actually do in DUWS - just clear out the enemies in each zone and complete the side objective?

Can I capture and populate the various empty camps in the enemy zones?

Haven't got that much into it and there's no real guide to it that I've found..yet.

This is neat, but really bare bones and rather difficult with no respawns.

Is DUWS a Bohemia thing or a mod?

I've been in Afghanistan since June so I haven't played it yet.
