My favorite feature of ARMA 3 is the splendid camera system. As much as I regret not having a campaign to play at release, I find I have more fun setting up missions in the editor and playing combat photographer...
Here we have the Australian Defence Force vs some African Rebels. I have little interest in ARMA 3's US VS Iran in Greece situation, so I was quick to find new "current world time" styles of units to play with. All of these units were controlled by the AI.
The ADF begins their assault of the rebel camp from the river.
Unfortunately you will notice US flags on the uniforms in addition to Aussie ones. The textures are supposed to have something over the US flags, but they don't always show up. ?
This guy hardly gives a **** that he nearly stepped on a snake.
CoolShades McGee makes contact with the enemy and engages.
The rebels suffer their first casualties.
CoolShades McGee ignores the rounds kicking up dirt next to his feet.
This AI makes good use of the stance adjust feature and downs a rebel. This is what is supposed to cover the US flags.
Another angle of that kill. I'm impressed the AI actually makes use of shooting around cover like that.
A grenade explodes, injuring CoolShades McGee. He can count the number of ****s he gives on his middle finger.
Another AI impressing me with his use of cover and stance adjustment.
Sweeping into the camp.
There was a rebel hiding behind some of that lush vegetation, and the Aussies take some wounds.
The camp is cleared. The ADF suffered 4 WIA and 0 KIA. This guy is either wounded, or doing the Gangnam Style dance on the ground.
